Interesting Information: Wing Farms was originally founded in 1852 by James Wing and is still going strong. The farm is comprised of 205 acres, including the homestead. Today, corn, soybeans and hay are the main crops – along with their famous Giant Pumpkins! Be sure to check out the gift shop and free hayrides run on the hour.

A2SO Presents: Holiday Pops
When: Friday, December 11 at 8pm
Where: Hill Auditorium, 825 N. University Ave., Ann Arbor, MI, 48109
What: A holiday concert for the whole family, featuring the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Boychoir of Ann Arbor, Ann Arbor Youth Chorale, Skyline High School Choruses, Greenhills Choir, and Measure for Measure men’s chorus.
Argo Nature Area is a beautiful 22 acre park along the Huron River, just north of downtown Ann Arbor, with parking located off of Longshore Drive. It offers multiple trails for hiking through the nature area, picnic spots, a dock, and public boat launch. The Argo Canoe Livery is open from April – October and provides rentals for canoes, kayaks, rafts, tubes, and stand-up paddle boats for individuals or larger groups.

Davinci’s Salon, downtown Ann Arbor
Davinci’s Salon in downtown Ann Arbor has a prime spot on the Main St strip. The stylists at Davinci’s refer to themselves as ‘artists’ and take pride in their professional and upscale atmosphere. They tend to both women and men, as well as children, and their services range from cuts, colors, extensions, nails, to waxes and makeup.
Next door is Shalimar and the Melting Pot. Shalimar specializes in Indian cuizine, taking reservations as well as catering. They are great for dinners out & also do carry-out for dinners in. The Melting Pot has been said to be very romantic and a great date spot and have proudly won wine awards. Melting Pot is the place to go for your fondue varieties!
Although Bar Louie calls a lot of places home, we have one right here in downtown Ann Arbor, on Liberty St. Here in A2 it’s open from 11am til 2am for lunch, dinner, and late dining. Perfect to head over for some post-game grub now that Football season is in gear.
Running Tues-Sun until Sun Jul 11 Ann Arbor will be having its Annual Top of the Park Summer Festival. Top of the Park is a free, family-friendly outdoor event consisting of movie screenings like Raiders of the Lost Ark, Westside Story, Avatar, and Fantastic Mr. Fox for the youngsters. Plus, live music nightly with a variety of big named local bands such as the Howlin’ Diablos and ‘After Dark’ which offers a live DJ after 10:30pm.
Ann Arbor might be full of entertainment and fun night life, with all the bars and events, but it is actually quite kid-friendly! So here’s one for the kids; the Ann Arbor Hands On Museum. Kids can learn with Professor Ray all about chemical reactions, solids and gases, and about sound vibrations. They also have special events such as foam ‘block parties’ and Creature Feature, where animal’s are brought in to share their unique qualities, like owls, iguanas, snakes, & giant turtles.
Open exhibits include a Butterfly and Moth exhibit, NASA Science exhibit, Internet exhibit, Solar and Light exhibits, plus a few others! Great for class field trips or just an afternoon out with Mom and Dad!
Located on Fletcher in downtown Ann Arbor is the Ann Arbor Power Center, also known as the University of Michigan School of Music and Dance. The architecture of the building alone is something to talk about, then go inside for an extraordinary atmosphere. It uses top-notch equipment and technology, along with rentable space for event occasions, seminars, and performances.
