A2SO Presents: Holiday Pops
When: Friday, December 11 at 8pm
Where: Hill Auditorium, 825 N. University Ave., Ann Arbor, MI, 48109
What: A holiday concert for the whole family, featuring the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Boychoir of Ann Arbor, Ann Arbor Youth Chorale, Skyline High School Choruses, Greenhills Choir, and Measure for Measure men’s chorus.
Google Building, Downtown Ann Arbor
Did you know that Larry Page, the CEO and co-founder of Google, is an University of Michigan Alum?! This could be why he chose Downtown Ann Arbor for one of Google’s 70 locations in 40 different countries around the globe! In each of their office buildings, Google tries to express the personality of the city it is located in through different murals and decorations, so no two offices are ever alike. So stop by the Google Building, located at 201 S. Division Street, and see how Google expresses Ann Arbor!

The Pioneer Theatre Guild’s 2011-12 season starts this Saturday Nov. 5 with The Phantom of the Opera, based off the book by Andrew Lloyd Webber & Richard Stilgoe. It will run from Nov. 5 to Sunday Nov. 13th.
Ann Arbor Art Center, downtown Ann Arbor, MI
Tomorrow Oct. 25, 2011 the Earle Restuarant will be holding a dinner to benefit the Ann Arbor Art Center. It costs $75 per person and includes a gourmet meal prepared & served by the staff of The Earle, plus a glass of wine. This Friday, oct. 21 2011 check out the Kerrytown Market & Shops at 410 N 4th Ave. in downtown Ann Arbor, MI while youre in the area for the A2 Art Walk. The walk starts Fri @ 5p until 9pm, and Saturday & Sunday from noon – 5p. Its a great place to discover the artwork of over 100 artists in galleries, studios, and art centers throughout Washtenaw County. Stop by the A2 or Ypsilanti Concention and Visitors Bureaus for a map of the walk.

Hanging out in Chelsea one morning I stumbled upon this adorable cafe called Back to the Roots. The atmosphere is very cool and relaxing. They have couches and comfy seating at the back of the shop, booths and tables in the middle by the cafe & sushi bar, and the front is all fair trade retail. The staff is very friendly & helpful and the food is great!
